1904 Roosevelt Corollary to the Monroe Doctrine

The Monroe Doctrine was an approach from President Theodore Roosevelt to Latin America and the Caribbean. It Corollary to the Monroe Doctrine first articulated in 1823. It asked to not let Europe influence or recolonize any part of the Western Hemisphere. The Roosevelt Corollary also stated that the U.S would intervene as a last resort to make sure that the Western Hemisphere would fulfill their obligations and didn't violate the rights of the U.S.
