Goals

The goal of the League of Nations was to be a place where nations would sort out their arguments as a way to avoid war. President Woodrow hoped that the league will put an end to wars and make the world a better place. This means improving public health, lives, jobs, and putting an end to slavery. Wilson also hoped to convince nations to agree to put down their weapons. No weapons would mean no war inside of Wilson's mind. Woodrow wanted countries to keep their promises too.
