There are currently 192 Members of the United Nations. Six official languages are used at the UN: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish. The term United Nations, otherwise known as the UN, is believed to have originated with Roosevelt.

All Members have equality
All Member States must follow the Charter
Settle differences by peaceful means
Members must avoid using force to get things done
Domestic affairs of any countries may not be interfered by the UN.
Members should try to assist the United Nations
