Peace Conference at Versailles

The Paris Peace Conference occurred in January in 1919 at Versailles just outside Paris. The purpose of the meeting was to establish the terms of the peace after World War 1. Allied victors following the end of World War 1 were the countries there; they wanted to set the peace terms for the defeated Central powers. The discussed terms included preventing further War with Germany, and making the country pay reparations for the damages caused during the war. This relates to the US Foreign Policy, because they are uniting with other countries to find peace among each other.
