International Involvement:

The world became involved with the Peace Conference in count of the thirty nations that attended the event. Each nation was present to oversee such an important event, and to support France or Germany. Since many outside nations were involved, the only nations to sign the Treaty were the overpowering nations; United States, France, Italy, and Great Britain. Each nation was involved because of political reasons, and advantages their nation would be given if the war was ended. For example, Italy's Vittorio Orlando signed the treaty because he was promised a piece of land that would give Italy the upper hand with many of their issues.

United States Involvement:

The United States had played a big role in the Peace Conference of 1919. Not only was the United States a superpower during that time, but it was also a part of the "Big Four"; United States, Italy, Great Britain, and France. These "Big Four" Dominated and controlled most of the overall outcomes that took place at the peace conference. Woodrow Wilson was the representative for the United States at the signing, and played an active role in securing France's peace with Germany.
