How it Effected the World

When Woodrow Wilson left the United States in order to go to Europe he talked to congress about his 14 points that would change the world. After arriving people cheered because he was "The man that owned the nation that ended the war". Everyone in Europe was happy because they thought President Wilson was going to change everything and make Europe mainly democratic and equal. In fact some of the great leaders wanted to side with President Wilson. Finally, after presenting his 14 points to the League they voted not to use all of Wilson's points. Therefore because of this Germany suffered a major blow when it came to land, politics, income, and power. Great Britain, along with France took a numerous amount of land from Germany thus making the Treaty of Versailles.
