In the year of 1941 the house of representatives and the president voted on the lend lease act during the time of world war 2. The lend lease act provided other allies aid especially military aid food etc... for the countries under pressure by the axis. This was very useful especially for the United Kingdom for the reason is that because of the war with the Nazis Great Britain became bankrupt and needed Aid from the United States.

During WWII the Axis powers were expanding over the globe. In order to protect themselves other powers in the world united together to form atlas. The united states was a part of atlas but did not want to get involved in war so the united states loaned money and supplies to the allies before the united states entered war. The USA helped by supplying the allied nations by sending food, guns, and oil. This is known as the lend lease act. -sincere
