In February 1932, Japan conquered Manchuria. The League took one year to declare that Japan leave. The League couldn't provide an army, and it needed America's support, not getting any help from the League, in the end it did nothing. In 1935, Italy invaded Abyssinia. Abyssinian emperor Haile Selassie went to the League himself to ask for help but all the League did was ban arm sales; harming Abyssinia more than Italy. The League offered Italy part of Abyssinia, but Italy invaded anyway. Italy, Britain and France tried to make a secret pact to give Abyssinia to Italy.
