Allied Countries (Britain, France, Russia)

Britain- Britain had liquidated so many assests that they became short of cash. President Roosevelt wanted to provide aid and assistance to the British people. The enactment of the Neutrality Act of 1939 did not allowed the President to transfer war materials to Britain without payment, so to bypass required payment, the President introduced Lend-Lease. There was a total of 4 tonnes of war materials given, which included food and medical supplies. From 1943-1944 a quarter of all the British munitions came in through the Lend Lease Act. In total 4 million tones of war materials including food and medical supplies were delivered.

France- There were more than 150,000 Allied soldiers that were under the command of U.S General Dwight D. Eisenhower. That then ended up helping lead to an Allie victory and then France continued the attack against Germany. France received 3 million dollars in aid through the Lend- Lease Act.

Russia- During the World War II America helped Soviet Russia with many of their weapons. From trucks, military and cargo planes, to jeeps. But, in addition 15,131 artillery guns and 131,633 sub machine guns were supplied by the Allies to Russia. The United States also helped Russia respond to German invasion. There was a total of 14,833 U.S aircraft sent to Russia between 1942-1944.
