Russia was a country that had help the United States fight against Germany, Italy and Japan. The U.S. had gave millions of dollars worth of weapons to Russia to help fight against Nazi, Germany. The two nations then became allies to one another. Also at war's end, countries was occupied by the Soviet Forces. With these two nation now allies after the liberation of Europe. This had help U.S. and Russia defeat their enemy's with one another by supplying weapons and men.
