Vietnam War

The Vietnam War was about the communist of North Vietnam and the Viet Cong (North Vietnam's allies in South Vietnam) against South Vietnam and it's allies, the United States. The South Vietnamese government was fighting against the North Vietnamese Army because they did not want communism. The United States helped the South Vietnamese government to help contain communism, otherwise known as, to prevent the spread of communism. After the war, the U.S. foreign policy changed from a military draft to an all-volunteer army. They also changed the voting age to 18.
