Major Requirement and Restriction

The first World War took the lives of many soldiers and innocent civilians. The Allied victors of the war wanted to form an international organization that would prevent another war and for nations to live in peace. There were many restrictions and requirement to be in the League. Here are the three important ones.

- All members of the league had to respect the territory of all other nations, meaning they couldn't just invade other countries' territory.

- Every member of the League had to respect other nations' way of governing, which effectively banned the creation of empires.

- if a member-state was attacked by an outside force, all other members had to support the attacked nation
