Key Events Spring 2012

Six Day War:

- Egypt planning at attack on Syria

- Israel conqured the West Bank (in Jordan), Gaza Strip (in Egypt), and Golan Heights (in Syria). These were the settlement places

- Syria played a huge role in raising tensions with other countries

- Before War Syria tried to make a plan to attack Iarael hard, building trenches and having weapons loaded up everywhere. But as soon as Syria started to attack when the war started, Israel turneds around and attacked them.

Yom Kippur War:

- Six Day War

- Suprise attack at Golan Heights

- 2 days later Irael goes on offensive

- Soviet airllift supplies to Egypt, and U.S sends 1 to Irael

- U.N security council saves Egypt with resolution 338
