Establishment of NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization)

NATO is an intergovernmental military collusion based on the North Atlantic Treaty that was signed on April 4, 1949. NATO was created because the United States wanted to cultivate a presence in Europe, to avoid a rejuvenation of military nationalism and foster political union. The imperative purpose is to armament the freedom and security of its comrades through political and military means. NATO advocates democratic values, emboldened deliberation, and unity on defense and security controversies to strengthen trust and in the future prohibit conflict.
