How it affected the United States

The Lend-Lease Act was created to provide support and assistance to Allies.

FDR wanted to extend the helping hand while the country remained neutral in the law.

Due to the fear of being drawn to the conflict, the U.S provided a Neutrality Act.

The Neutrality Act allowed people to buy war material but also formed it in

the particular way that would let the U.S have less involvement as possible.

This was able to assist allies; albeit allies had to provide their own

shipping and pay for the goods on a cash and carry basis.

It drew many concerns about how far the U.S was involved in the war.
