Lend Lease Act
The Lend Lease Act was an act that symbolized the United States taking a step away from non-interventionist policy. President FDR signed the act. The Lend Lease Act was proposed in 1940, and was not passed until March 11th, 1941. Also, this also was a means providing United States military aid to foreign during WWII. This allowed the transfer of supplies without compensation to Britain, Russia, Soviet Union and other Allied countries. The United States believed that this help to the allied countries would help a victory over Germany.
