War on Terrorism
Overview:
The War of Terror is also known as the Global War on Terrorism.
It is a worldwide military campaign that was boosted by the
United States government after the terrorist attack on
September 11 attacks against the United States.
On September 11, 2001 a group Al-Qaeda hijacked four airplanes ,.
and carried out suicide attacks against targets in the US,
this resulted in the United States declaring and waging a war "terror".
