Six Day War and Yom Kippur Wars in the Middle East

On October 6, 1973, Egyptians and Syrian forces launched a coordinated attack against Israel on Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish Calendar. This attack occurred for reasons obvious to the public. Egyptians were trying to win back territory lost during the Arab - Israel war, in 1967. So much hostility built up after this war, something drastic was bond to happen. And in many peoples eyes this attack was years over due.
