Lend Lease Act

The lend lease act was a program(passed in 1941) used by united states to provide support to other countries whos defense was vital to the united states. This made it able for the US to lend supplies to Britain during WWII. One of the reasons why the US made the lend lease act was because the american people were sympathetic for people in Britain and were afraid of the Nazi's but were afraid to go to war. Also, america just got out of the great depression and were still recovering. By passing the lend lease act, they can help Britain by not getting involved in the war
