Treaty of Versailles

The conditions of the Treaty were for Germany for give up parts of their territory. France would gain Alsace-Lorriane. Other countries that were invaded by Germany including Belgium, Lithuania, Poland, Czechoslovakia gained back their land as well. Germany had to pay millions of dollars and accepted that they caused the war. The German army was also limited to 100,000 men and were not allowed to have heavy artillery, tanks, poison-gas supplies, aircrafts or airships and their Navy could not have more than 100,000 tons of vessels and no submarines.
