The Affect On The U.S.

World War 1 had an effect on many countries. One of the main countries this war had an effect on was the United States. This war is known to be the sixth deadliest conflict of all conflicts in the United States history. There was a lost of nearly eight million people due to this war. WW1 lasted up to four years total. The war began on June 28, 1914 because of the assassination of the Austrian archduke. On April 6, 1917 the U.S. joined their allies in the war. The United States allies were Britain, France, and Russia. The war ended on November 1, 1918. Although WW1 fought all over the world, it seemed to be a bigger deal in Europe. The overall cost of WW1 for the United States was over 30 billion dollars. Some people wondered what came out of WW1 but a decent amount of citizens were unaware that WW1 helped free many African American slaves.
