Fall 2013 Peace Conference at Versailles

The Peace Conference at Versailles was an international meeting that took place in January of 1919. Nearly 30 nations participated, and the four main countries were Britain, France, United States, and Italy. There were also three main figures who participated in the conference, U.S. President Woodrow Wilson, U.K. Prime Minister David Lloyd George, and French Prime Minister George Clemenceau. During this conference, the Treaty of Versailles was created and finalized all the compromises of the Allied Powers. The United States felt as if the treaty was unfair toward the country because they entered the war after the Allied Powers was formed. The Treaty of Versailles also affected countries who were part of the Allied Powers at any time during World War I.
