How it affected the world

This war resolved problems from World War 1 and symbolized

the end of the Great Depression. At the end of the war, millions

of people were homeless and living on the street trying to make it

by day by day and were just desperate. The economy had collapsed and

most industrial infrastructures were destroyed. There has also been

a change in the number of women that worked in regular jobs and more of them

more of them had participated in the workforce. After the war, the

United States and the union of Soviet (Russia) socialist republics both became

influential forces.
