Affects on the World

Before WWI, the U.S were isolated from the rest of the world. Post WWI handled all of the debts from the war. Germany could not afford the 33 billion in reputations. America then stepped in began loaning millions to Germany to keep it Soviet along with multiple other countries. In 1924, the U.S created an act called Dawes that provided loans for the allies. In 1928, the U.S started to collect all the money that was distributed because concerns began to rose due to the U.S economy. Allies only paid back 2.6 billion out of 14 billion.
