How it affected the world?

The UN is not affecting the world. It does, however, provide the means to help resolve international conflicts and formulate policies on matters affecting all of us. At the UN, all the Member States, large and small, rich and poor, with differing political views and social systems, have a voice and a vote in this process. In its 63 years in existence, the united nations has been a powerful force for good in the lives of hundreds of millions of people all over the world. Whether protecting refugees or eradicating diseases, feeding the hungry or defending the environment, promoting justice or keeping the peace, the UN and UN agencies are responsible for many of the achievements that have made this world better, safer, and more prosperous place to live.
