Roosevelt Corollary and how it affected the United States

The Roosevelt Corollary affected the United States by making them the "police" of international affairs involving countries in the western hemisphere. This means that if any world power were to perform any action that would put countries in the western hemisphere in any position they do not want to be in the United States can intervene. What this means for the United States is that they are now in a position that can possibly even start a war. Although many countries are intimidated by the U.S military force involving the country in international affairs in the manner of peace is bound to head to the latter.
