Passage of the Stamp Act 1765

The Stamp Act 1765 was passed by the British. This act allowed British to tax people. They include this taxes on newspapers, magazines, legal documents and insurance policies to help finance for troops. The colonist were outraged by the taxes because they did not get to say anything about it.

Boston Massacre

The Boston Massacre took place on March 5, 1770. It stated with group of British soldiers opened fire on the crowd. The result was that five men died at the spot and six were wounded. The mans who fire the gun at soldiers were arrested by the next morning.
