How The Korean War Affected The World and United States

The war destroyed economy for both north and south Korea. The two largest western superpowers fought in the small peninsula. The war also helped shape the rival regimes of the two Korea's. South Korea held Americas influence in capitalism. North formed Juche, a communist ideology. The largest impact is the amount of deaths during the war. As fa as the world as a whole the war took more than three million lives. It was also the armed confrontation of the cold war. Overall it did not hold much significance being known as the forgotten war.
