The Central Powers Role in WWI

The Central Powers consisted of Germany,Austria-Hungary,Bulgaria and the Ottoman Empire.Germany had the largest army and was the leader of Central Powers. The Ottoman Empire had a strong economic connections to Germany and signed 2 military alliance with Germany in 1914. The had an estimate of about 25 million soldiers about 3.1 million had died. During World War l the Central Powers wanted to conquer many nations they were successful at taking over many African Colonies. Germany broke a promise with Russia about general mobilization and started war. They later backed off because Russia was to aggressive for Germany Powers.
