What is the League of Nations?

The League of Nations was an intergovernmental headquartered in Geneva, and Switzerland, created after the first World War to provide a solution for resolving international disputes. However, the idea of it was proved very hard and difficult to create, led to Woodrow Wilson not being able to convince America to join. It was created by Woodrow Wilson himself and first brought up in the last of his 14 points speech. It consisted of an assembly with all members, a council made of 5 permanent members, and four rotating members on the International court of Justice.
