Relation to U.S foreign policy

Foreign policy is the government's strategy of dealing with other nations. The relation to foreign policy is that the u.s annexed Hawaii making it become part of the u.s. The united states needed Hawaii for sugar expantion and other trades around the world. Hawaii was annexed to increase foreign trade. This was done by making Hawaii (Pearl Harbor) a naval base in the pacific.
