United Nations Funding

United Nations is financed by assessed voluntary contributions that is given to them from the members. The Budget is approved by the general assembly and determines the assessment of each individual member. A ceiling rate establishes that the United Nations will never grow and become dependent on any one individual to finance their operations. In 2017 , the top eight providers of financial contributions were the United States , China , Japan , Germany , France , United Kingdom , Russian Federation , and Italy. Programs that are not included in the regular budget are financed by members corporations.
