How it affected the United States

The declaration was the birth certificate of the American nation it was the most memorable statement of all the ideals that were founded. Some of the ideals that were founded was the rights to life,liberty,and the pursuit of happiness. The declaration of independence helped inspire many different movements like self determination and also revolution.It brought emancipation proclamation which gave black slaves their freedom. It also created equality for men and women it didn't matter what race you were.
