President James Monroe

President James Monroe was born on April 28, 1758. He was born in Westmoreland Virginia. He was the 5th President of the United States. He died on 1831. President James Monroe messaged to congress containing the Monroe Doctrine, which warned European powers not to interfere in the affairs of the Western Hemisphere.

President Grover Cleveland

Grover Cleveland was born on March 18, 1837, in Caldwell, New Jersey. He died in 1908. He was the 22nd and the 24th President of the United States. President Grover Cleveland tried to invoke the Monroe Doctrine to compel the british to accept arbitration in a border dispute between Venezuela and British Guiana.

President John Quincy Adams

John Adams was born on July 11, 1767, in Braintree, Mass. He died in on February 23, 1848. John was the 6th to become president of the United States. he started off as a senate. He then became secretary of State in the Cabinet of President James Monroe. John Adams helped James Monroe draft The Monroe Doctrine along with Thomas Jefferson.
