Revolution

The Philippine revolution started late august 1896 and continued on until 1898. In March 1897 is when Emilio Aguinaldo was the new leader of the Philippines, so it was his job to gain independence from Spain and reform the government. Emilio showed that his troops were unable to defeat the Spanish troops to get their independence. On December 15, 1897 the pact of Biak-na-Bato was passed this was a truce between the two countries. The KKK group also played a role during the revolution. The purpose of the Philippine revolution was for the Philippines full independence that was take away from them from Spain and the United States.
