The American Revolution

The American Revolution, or The American Revolutionary War, was one of the most important events in American history. The 13 colonies went to war with Great Britain, and gained its independence in 1783. The war started in April of 1775. This relates to U.S. foreign policy because we can trade and be friends with another country, but we are still our own country and not under another country's rule.
