How It Affected the World

The League of Nations happened internationally. Even though the United States wasn't apart of it, they still did their own thing. They wanted peace in Europe. President Woodrow Wilson called for a general association of nations, formed under specific covenants for the purpose of political independence and territorial integrity. Woodrow Wilson called for the formation of general association of nations. Diplomats and intellectuals on both sides of the Atlantic agreed that we needed lasting peace.
