Peace Conference at Versailles Fall 2011

The Paris Peace Conference took place at Versailles. The conference was to discuss among the allied powers what they wanted to do with the central powers that lost WWI. The allied powers that won WWI were primarily the United States, United Kingdom, Italy, and France. The central powers that lost WWI included Germany, Austria-Hungary, Bulgaria, and the Ottoman Empire. The allied forces at the conference were also called the big four. This is an example of our foreign policy at times of war to restore peace among other nations.
