US Involvement in WWII
The global war that was World War II, or the Second World War was one of the most influential wars in history. The war would last up to about six years from 1939-1945. The war put an economic,industrial, and scientific strain on many countries at the time of the war. It spread worldwide as more than 30 countries and 100 million people were involved in World War II. The war was pronounced by the shocking amount of fatalities which ranged from 50 to 85 million people. The United States did not enter the war right away, but when they did they had a profound impact on the struggle. World War II shaped the way the world would be for coming years and without the involvement of the United States the world would be much different.
