How it Affected Germany

After the Peace Treaty was signed between the "Big Four" Germany was impacted heavily. For example, they were forced to pay compensations to their Allies for the damage they had caused due to the war with Great Britain. This made a massive impact and critical reconstruction on German's war-ravaged economy. Their economy was based upon production and transmitting weapons and ships, unfortunately the Peace Treaty had banned these things. It was basically impossible for Germany to continue with their trades. In result, millions of soldiers had become unemployed and were struggling with being so close to poverty. With the economy of Germany being targeted harshly it brought on a depression and a great lost in the population (approximately 6 million people). Also, Germany had lost about 13% of their land to other countries in Europe. This was one of the many reasons the population had decreased significantly. In all reality Germany felt victimized because of WW1 and was humiliated by the punishments and the great loss' they had endured. In addition, the Peace Treaty didn't do it's job to make the peace between the countries but made a high probability of there being a WW2. With having all of this chaos, the Germans demanded to have a more authoritarian direction, where they joined Communists and Socialist Parties. In result, Hitler had become their leader and had a promising future to rise them back to glory and feeling whole as a country once again.
