Theodore Roosevelt: Strongly supported the Allies and wanted to enforce stricter policies on Germany

Woodrow Wilson: The US made a declaration of neutrality in 1914. He maintained neutrality despite the pressure coming from the sinking of the Lusitania

Winston Churchill: Was the Prime Minister of Great Britain during WW2.

Adolf Hitler: Dictator of Nazi Germany. He came into power in 1933. He moved Germany to a totalitarian dictatorship.

V.I. Lenin: First leader of the Soviet Union. Was leader from (1917-1924). Negotiated Russia's exit from war.

Joseph Stalin: Successor to V.I. Lenin. He pursued a Socialism in one country and signed the Nazi soviet act of 1939.

Franklin D. Roosevelt:

Elected president of the U.S. in 1932 the height of the Great Depression. Created the New Deal and reduced unemployment.
