American Revolution
The American Revolutionary war started in 1775 and ended in 1783. This war consisted of American colonies against Britain. The American patriots won over Great Britain in the 13th colonies. This war resulted in American independence once they won the war. Once the first shots were fired, both of these countries fought military and political wars until a peace that was negotiated in September of 1783.
