On May 1, 1898 the first battle was fought on Manila Bay which is in the Philippines. On July 1, 1898 U.S. forces beat the Spanish at San Juan Heights. Teddy Roosevelt attacked Spain on the southern coast of Cuba for the Battle of San Juan Heights.

On July 3, 1898 U.S. destroy the Spanish Fleet(Navy Vessels) off the coast Santiago Bay, Cuba.

On August 12, 1898 both Spain and the United States signed a Protocol of Peace.

Finally on December 10, 1898 both countries signed the Treaty of Paris.
