How it Affected the US

The Gulf War affected the U.S in several ways. Most of it was financially such as, the war cost the U.S $60 billion. Soldiers were also being killed one after another. Overall the U.S lost 2,300 soldiers and 17,000 were injured. The ending of the war led the U.S into many problems. Not only economically but physically as well. The energy supply was the maim big problem that effected the U.S after the war. The U.S had to spend money that they barely even had on oil supplies because the war effected the oil market and prices were extremely high. Oil prices went from $2.50 per barrel to $3.00.
