Germany signing the peace treaty

The treaty of Versailles was the treaty that ended world war 1. It was signed by Germany and the allied powers in order to signify their defeat and their cause of the war. Germany has to pay compensation for their loss of the war and they have to retreat from Belgium, Russian, and French Land and to never return unless they have permission from their governments. It was sign on June 28th and after the Conference for it that's when the rules and regulations for Germany took affect.
