Fourteen Points

Woodrow Wilson, the 28th president created and pitched a resolution to Congress, called Fourteen Points on January 8th, 1918. This speech/ document stated that World War I was fought due to morals and peace. The document established conditions for armistice. The Fourteen Points also helped to discuss the Treaty of Versailles. His purpose was to have a "new balance of power". He achieved this by consulting with The Inquiry for solutions.

The Fourteen Points : 8 out of 14 points are regarding to territorial issues, the next 6 points pertained to agreements. For example Freedom of Seas, this originated from the restrictions of sea that happened between England and Germany in August 1914.
