Battle of Bunker Hill

The battle of bunker hill was on June 17, 1775, during the siege of Boston in the early stages of the American Revolutionary War. The battle was named after bunker hill in Charleston, Massachusetts, which was peripherally involved during battle. Before any of this could have happened George Washington had to take charge of 15,000 colonial troops before laying siege to the British garrison in Boston. In addition, he did that with the help of 4 generals, which were Sir William Howe, Sir Henry Clinton, Charles Cornwallis, and John Burgoyne.
