The American Revolution

American Revolution” Also known as the United states war of independence or American Revolutionary war. The war was from 1775 to 1783, which was won by the 13 newly North American colonies, which created independence being able to form the United states of America. The war was fought on land with essentially 2 types of organizations, which were the continental Army and the state militias. There were about 231,771 men that fought in the war, the militias totaled at about 164,087 soldiers to fight in the war. There were only 29,000 insurgent under arms throughout the country, therefore one fought by small fields.
