*Britain: In 1940 Winston Churchill requested aid from President Roosevelt. Roosevelt agreed to help in exchange for 50 surplus American destroyers that were transferred to the royal navy and royal Canadian navy for 99 year leases on various military installations. Though Great Britain succeeded in repelling the Germans, they remained suppressed by their enemy on the multiple fronts. The U.S. extended $4.34 billion in credit in 1945, allowing Britain to stave off bankruptcy after devoting almost all its resources to the war for half a decade. Since 1950 Pictures Britain has made payments on the debt, the final payment of which is worth $84 million, at the end of every year.
* Russia: Received the second largest sum of money for the Lend Lease Act. They received 11 billion in financial aids, such as shipping repairs, agricultural products, munitions, and industrial items. The Lend Lease Act prohibited goods furnished for relief and rehabilitation purposes, but more than a third of the Lend-Lease to Russia was very expensive and perilous. The only records of the Lend-Lease in Russia's exchange was from a man named Major Jordan, which was a part of the Russia's manifest.
*France: Received 3 million in aid from the Lend Lease Act. All of the supplies and information covered the agreements with the french. The U.S assisted the french with war against the Germans, and restored peace in Europe. France initially borrowed various weapons that were distributed through the Lend Lease Act. The supplies included raw materials, medical supplies, food, and short-life manufacturing equipment for war production. They also requested freight rental and charter vessels, locomotives, and pricy merchant marines.
