Six Day War and Yom Kippur Wars in the Middle East

The six day war and the Yom Kippur war were wars between Israel and Egypt fighting for territory in the middle east. On October 6, 1973 Egyptian and Syrian forces launched an attack on Israel on Yom Kippur , it twas the holiest day in Jewish calendar. The six day war ended with a United Nations arranged cease-fire between Israel and their Arab neighbors, with the victory of Israel and lasted June 5- June 10, 1967. The October war, other known as the Yom Kippur war was multiple wars for territory. With a new leader, peace wanted to be restored and so the 4th war was started so that it would convince a peace treaty.
